TRE offers premier commuter rail service between Fort Worth and Dallas.
Jump aboard Trinity Railway Express as we connect these two great cities and all points in between. Each city has its own unique attractions and events – all easily accessible. TRE is provided by Trinity Metro and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). Trains operate Monday through Saturday. No scheduled service on Sunday, except during the State Fair of Texas.
Ride TRE to the State Fair of Texas
TRE will operate special weekend schedules during the 2026 State Fair of Texas, which is open from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, October 18.
TRE Not Operating on Labor Day
TRE will not be in service on Monday, September 7, 2026 in honor of the Labor Day holiday.
